La Guardiola, once the house of the castle's guardian, is now a 2 bedroom stone farmhouse with accommodations for 4 guests. The one story farmhouse has been completely restored and is comprised of:

• living / dining room with fireplace
• kitchen
• 1 double bedroom
• 1 twin bedroom (2 beds)
• 1 bathroom w/ shower

The farmhouse is all on one level. There is a small entry way with a kitchenette off to one side. This leads to the living/dining room with a cozy fireplace. There are doors from the living room out to the private garden where you can enjoy the views of Tuscany.

At the other end of the farmhouse are the two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with 2 twin beds.

The bathroom is complete shower, sink, w.c. and bidet.

You can easily day trip to many of the towns of Tuscany, including Siena which is just 12 km away. The nearest village is Ville di Corsano 500 meters from the Grotti castle. Here you will find the Post Office and a supermarket as well as a good restaurant and a chemist's shop (*). Florence is at 70 Km., Grosseto is at 55 Km.
